Regrant Program Manager

Manage all aspects of re-granting over $100,000 in annual local arts and cultural funding to over 60 cultural organizations and 30 artists; Programs feature partnerships with Key Bank of New York with KeyArts, New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) with Strategic Opportunities Stipends (SOS), New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) with Erie County DEC Grant Program; Manage all aspects of the grant making process from Grant Application Seminars to supervising volunteer grant review panels consisting of more than 30 artists and arts administrators to annual awards ceremonies; Technical assistance and workshop programming for artists and cultural organizations; Advocacy for increased funding for the arts amongst local elected officials; Advanced Arts Council’s web 2.0 presence & E-marketing with Facebook, Constant Contact & Flickr. Founded a local chapter of American’s for the Art’s Emerging Leaders program  (ELAB) which received a resounded response from the community and has exceeded all expectations.

Curator of 2009 – 2010 Visual Arts Exhibitions: organized fall and spring visual arts exhibitions, annual members’ show, collaborated with guest curators, jurors and artists, Member of Beyond/In WNY 2010 Curatorial Committee.  Marketing responsibilities included design/layout of print materials, online newsletters, website/HTML maintenance to Facebook event invites and updates. Manage membership database, communications and special events. Oversee the Arts Niagara DEC grant program: grant application seminars, technical assistance workshops, grant review panels, public relations/advocacy, grant payment disbursements, NYSCA grant writing and reporting, program accounting, and organized records management. Presented the Arts Niagara DEC program to the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) annual state-wide conference/retreat in April 2009.
