Thanks to setting up this site, I checked up on one of the first artists I worked with in NYC, Nils Folke Anderson.  In my initial gallery management class I had to curate a show on paper for our final project with a real artist, thus I went to a few MFA shows around Manhattan, [...]

This is my class and the director of our graduate program, Dr. Katharine Michaelsen, on our first art history ‘day trip’ to ICA Boston and Harvard’s Art Museums. My first art business internship in NYC was in Corporate Art Consulting with Vick Corporate Art Advisors. They did such major projects for TimeWarner, Verizon, Time Inc, and the New York Times.  Getting to go on client meetings was great because they were typically on the 30-50ft floor of some major midtown or downtown skyscrapper [...]
